Process Solutions

Diaphragm Seal / Process Interface Options

Multiple remote seal types supported: flush flange, extended diaphragm flange, pancake, sanitary, chemical tee (Taylor wedge), saddle, threaded, calibration rings.

Capillary options: stainless steel armored or PVC-coated armor, various lengths.

Meter body options: welded meter body or 2” stainless nipples.

Accuracy & Rangeability

Typical “standard” accuracy: up to ± 0.065% of span.

Some sources / variants claim even tighter accuracy (e.g., 0.0375%) depending on model.

Very high rangeability (turndown): up to 100:1.

Compensation & Diagnostics

Automatic compensation for static pressure and temperature, which helps maintain accuracy even in challenging conditions.

On-board diagnostics: transmitters include advanced health monitoring.

Supports NAMUR NE107 extended diagnostics (for Fieldbus / FF) per spec.

Safety & Mechanical Design

Dualseal design for high safety (meets ANSI/NFPA 70202 and ISA 12.27.0) to prevent leaks.

Overpressure protection built into the transmitter design.

Modular construction: electronics, display, and terminal modules are replaceable in the field.

Display / User Interface

Supports multiple local display options: standard alphanumeric LCD or advanced graphic LCD.

External access for zero, span, and configuration via buttons.

Polarity-insensitive electrical connections (reduces wiring errors).

Communication / Output Protocols

Supports: HART version 7, Honeywell Digitally Enhanced (DE), and FOUNDATION™ Fieldbus.

Supports configuration via handheld devices, PC (Honeywell Field Device Manager), etc.

Materials / Fill Fluid

Process-wetted materials (diaphragm) are available in different options (e.g., 316L stainless steel; other alloys possible) per seal type.

Fill fluids: multiple options including Silicone 200, CTFE, Silicone 704, NEOBEE M20, depending on temperature and application.

Capillary lengths and material selection according to application: up to certain feet, with specific capillary size / type.

Operating Conditions

Ambient / electronics temperature limits depend on housing and seal type.

Power supply: for HART / DE / Fieldbus versions, sees typical SmartLine supply voltages.

Certifications & Safety

Functional safety: versions compliant with SIL 2 / SIL 3 available.

Modular design helps with maintaining approvals even after field module replacements.

Compatible with Honeywell Experion PKS control system for integration.

Features

  • Ideal for corrosive or high-temperature fluids where direct mounting is challenging.
  • Good for level measurement in pressurized vessels, slurries, high viscosity fluids, or fluids with solids.
  • Remote seal configuration allows the transmitter to be located away from harsh process conditions.
