The excellent performance and ease of application of the P10 series have been proven in numerous installations in every kind of process industry throughout the world. P10 series can be used to measure not only differential pressure but also flow rate, liquid level, density and other process variables which can be measured via differential pressure, converting them to 20 to 100 kPa (0.2 to 1.0kg/c㎡, 0.2 to 1.0 bar or 3 to 15 psi) signals for transmission to remote receivers.
Differential pressure transmitters are employed in many fields, often under very severe working conditions that pose many technical problems. The P10 series is the ultimate in transmitters, solving these problems ingeniously.
The P10 transmitters output a proportional pneumatic signal: 20–100 kPa (which is roughly 0.2–1.0 bar or 3–15 psi) to remote pneumatic receivers.
This makes them suited for systems that use pneumatic control or pneumatic instrumentation.
While they are often used for differential pressure, they can also measure variables derived from differential pressure: flow rate, liquid level, density, etc.
This makes the P10 series a flexible choice for many process applications.
Supports a broad differential pressure span: for example, certain models support spans from 1.25 to 210 kPa.
Static (line) pressure capability is also high, depending on the model. For example, the Y/13A model supports very high static pressures.
Y/13A: standard pneumatic differential pressure transmitter.
Y/13FEA: flange-mount differential version.
Y/15A: very low-span differential (1.25–6.2 kPa) for precise level measurement.
Y/17B6: buoyancy type (for level/density) using a displacer.
Y/11AM: absolute pressure version.
Good accuracy (including linearity, hysteresis, repeatability) — for some models, ± 0.5% of span is specified.
