Features
- The TTD300 is a field-mount temperature transmitter in a dual-compartment housing (i.e., split between sensor/terminal compartment and electronics compartment) designed for demanding environments (oil & gas, chemical).
- Universal sensor input: supports RTDs (e.g., Pt100), thermocouples (types B, E, J, K, N, R, S, T, etc), resistances (Ω) and mV inputs.
- Output: 4-20 mA signal with HART communication (HART protocol) in the versions listed.
- Two sensor inputs (i.e., dual input channel) allowing e.g. redundancy, sensor drift monitoring.
- Advanced diagnostics and monitoring:
- Wire-break and corrosion monitoring (NAMUR NE 89)
- Device status signalling and freely configurable diagnostic classification with history (NAMUR NE 107)
- Designed for harsh ambient conditions: e.g., ambient temperature range down to −50 °C in some versions.
- Explosion/hazard-area approvals (Zone 0) for oil & gas / chemical industry usage.
- Housing material and protection: IP66 / IP67 rated, dual-compartment design enhances protection of electronics from terminal compartment, vibration/shock resistant.
- Optional internal surge protection for electromagnetic protection (useful in high-surge environments)
