Emerson Micro Motion Flow Meter

The Emerson micro motion flow meter is a Coriolis mass flow meter designed for highly accurate measurement of mass, density, temperature, and flow rate in liquids, gases, and slurries. They are renowned for their advanced technology, rugged construction, and smart digital capabilities. The meter uses the Coriolis effect to measure mass flow. Fluid passes through vibrating tubes inside the meter, and as the fluid flows, it causes a slight twisting of the tubes due to the Coriolis force. Sensors detect this twist and calculate the mass flow rate based on the amount of deflection. In addition to mass flow, the meter measures fluid density by monitoring the natural vibration frequency of the tubes and temperature using integrated sensors. These combined measurements allow operators to get comprehensive, real-time flow data from a single instrument.
