Gauge Pressure Transmitters – SmartLine STG700

SmartLine®​ ​ST700 Gauge Pressure Transmitters are ideal for applications ranging from high-pressure measurements in boilers and fuel feeds to tank level measurement applications with a relatively high process temperature.

Dual Head Gauge Pressure Transmitters are suited for typical applications involving reaction vessels in the chemical industry and level applications with process temperatures up to 257°F /125°C. In-Line transmitters are screwed directly onto a 1/2” male NPT nipple and can be installed in hazardous environments for accurate, repeatable pressure measurement. Typical applications include high-pressure measurement in boilers, fuel feeds and high-pressure reaction vessels in the petrochemical and hydrocarbon recovery industries.

Measurement Technology

Uses piezoresistive sensor technology with on-chip temperature compensation, giving high accuracy and stability.

Modular design for flexibility and easier maintenance / sparepart stocking.

Accuracy & Stability

Standard accuracy: up to 0.055% of span, optional down to 0.04%.

Very stable over time: up to 0.02% of URL per year (for a 10year horizon).

STG73x: 050 psi (~03.5 bar)

STG74x: 0500 psi (035 bar)

STG77x: 03,000 psi (0210 bar)

STG78x: up to 6,000 psi (420 bar)

STG79x: up to 10,000 psi (690 bar)

High rangeability (turndown) – up to 100:1.

Response Time

Fast response: as low as 100 ms.

Damping is adjustable (0 … 32 seconds) to smooth the output if needed.

Temperature / Process Conditions

Process (media) temperature: up to 125°C (257°F) in some models.

Onboard automatic temperature compensation helps maintain performance across temperature changes.

Materials / Mechanical

Process-facing parts (wetted): options include 316L stainless steel and Hastelloy C-276 (for more corrosive processes) in both in-line and dual-head versions.

Enclosure rating: IP66 / IP67 per spec sheet.

Process connection options: ½″ NPT internal thread or flange, depending on model.
